Job Description

An international law firm is currently seeking an Information Governance Manager to help with the administration and security of the records management operations for designated operations in their HK office.


Responsibilities

  • Manages the workflow of the Records Management team establishes priorities assigns specific tasks coordinates coverage during staff absences and assesses requirements for overtime and training
  • Manages records operations for designated departments and engaging with Records Management colleagues regarding organisational or local office directives
  • Oversee staff management encompassing recruitment training performance assessments attendance tracking and the recommendation of disciplinary measures when required.

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree that includes focused studies in fields such as records management business law administrative management or information technology
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in records and data management preferably in law firms or professional services firm
  • Proficiency in records document or content management applications including iManage or NetDocs Records Management is essential.
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Information Governance Professional (IGP) certifications will be preferred
  • Strong IT knowledge and skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills with excellent communications skills
