Position: Civil Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team in Dundee Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all civil construction activities ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for career growth and development within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all civil construction activities including site preparation excavation grading paving and utility installation.
- Supervise on-site civil works including site setup duct laying reinstatement and compliance with NRSWA regulations
- Conduct daily site audits and ensure work is completed to required specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with project plans specifications and safety regulations.
- Manage subcontractors and field teams ensuring safety and quality across all activities.
- Handle permits and notices ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and pre-site surveys identifying and resolving potential issues early.
- Monitor progress and productivity of construction crews and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Telecom / civil construction preferably in a supervisory role (with in UK)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and equipment
- Valid UK Driving License(mandatory).
- Strong understanding of telecom network builds and civil construction processes.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
