About The Team
Leading a team of 7-8 clinicians (OT PT and SP) with approximately 50% leadership responsibilities and 50% clinical caseload you will be able to continue developing your skills whilst reporting into the Therapy Manager for support.
The Nowra team is a highly experienced and knowledgeable multidisciplinary team who strive for excellence each and every day. The team work together in a close knit environment and take a multi-disciplinary approach to therapy which has helped form an incredible bond among them leading to a great culture forming over several years and regular cake! We are integrated closely into the community and have developed amazing relationships with our families and local partners in the area.
You could be living on some of the most desirable coastline in NSW if not Australia all within a short 30min drive from the centre of town and we aim to provide flexible working arrangements to maintain an optimal work/life balance.
Overall we have a highly varied and diverse caseload across the disciplines ranging in age diagnosis complexity and needs specifically within the cerebral palsy and disability space. With 75% of our clients under the age of 14 though this is a great opportunity for you to specialise in early intervention therapy and grow your career with CPA.
A healthcare or clinical background is essential.

Required Skills
- Strong communication skills including conveying expectations providing feedback and facilitating team discussions communicating risks and barriers to the Regional Manager and effective engagement with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and concerns
- Leading through guidance motivation and support
- Ability to translate strategic priorities of the organisation into meaningful actions for your team
- Problem-Solving: troubleshooting challenges performing logistical gymnastics and making informed decisions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision-making
- Proficient user of IT
- Commitment to supporting team members to navigate daily challenges as well as their longer-term professional development.
- An understanding of the complex needs of our clients

What Were Looking For:
Relevant qualifications in allied health
Evidence of current AHPRA registration or a willingness to attain it.
A current drivers license.
