The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising the overall operation of the facility acting as facility leader out of hours. They will ensure that the company work systems standards and behaviors are sustained to deliver and exceed site safety quality productivity and service KPIs through the effective leadership and engagement of their team and coordination of available resources. They will work closely with the platform leaders to develop teams capability and performance. They will be accountable to lead responses to crisis management events. And crisis management response.
- Minimum 2 year associates degree in business related field or 2 or greater years successful lead operator (MT3) or technical position.
- Excellent integrity communication and organizational and leadership skills. Personal energy and desire to learn and develop.
- Possesses skills to coach and develop all levels of the department to achieve goals
- Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems develop alternative corrective actions and engage appropriate colleagues in the timely implementation of corrective actions
- Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment and mechanically inclined.
- Ability to work a 12 hour rotating shift
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
