Job Description

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping/receiving fulfilling field part requests maintaining inventory levels and supporting nonconformance processesunder the supervision of a senior controller manager.

Wage: Hourly
Tiered based on experience

Skills & Abilities

Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: 03 years in purchasing inventory control shipping/receiving or a related field
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented organized and team-focused with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced shop environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check physical and drug screen
  • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Position Details

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Job Status: Full-Time
Amount of Travel Required: 0%
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Work Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Rotating weekend on-call required
Work Location: Based in Midland shop; must be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments with occasional loud noise

Duties

  • Manage all shipping and receiving activities including proper truck loading/unloading
  • Maintain and update receiving logs per DWS Quality Management System standards
  • Fulfill field part requests and organize transportation of items
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify purchaser when reorders are necessary
  • Ensure clean and organized shop and inventory areas storing parts per OEM standards
  • Support nonconformance investigations and documentation with the Quality Manager
  • Adhere to all company shop policies and safety procedures
  • Assist with other projects and duties as assigned
