    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Valid California administrative services credential
    2. Masters Degree preferred
    3. Successful teaching or related experience with at-risk students includingEnglish Learner and gifted students
    4. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff and the public

    SUPERVISES: Staff as assigned
    JOB GOAL: To support principal in establishing a collaborative and equitable school culture by fostering trust building strong relationships with educational partners and modeling integrity and accountability. Provide instructional
    leadershipthrough data-driven strategies professional development and curriculum alignment to meet diverse student needs and improve outcomes. Promote student success by implementing MTSS improving
    attendance and ensuringequitable discipline while enhancing college and career readiness opportunities. Manage resources effectively maintain campus safety and strengthen family and community engagement to
    support holistic student development.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Acts as temporary head of school in absence of principal
    2. Fosters a culture of trust collaboration and continuous improvement among staff and students
    3. Builds positive relationships with families community groups and organizations to support student success
    4. Provides instructional leadership through data-driven decision-making classroom observations and actionable feedback
    5. Oversees implementation of Tier 1 instructional programs to meet diverse student needs
    6. Leads staff professional learning and development to improve instructional practices and student outcomes
    7. Guides curriculum and assessment alignment with standards anddistrict expectations
    8. Monitors student performance and use accountability systems to improveteaching and learning
    9. Leads initiatives to improve attendance and reduce chronicabsenteeism through data analysis and targeted strategies
    10. Promotes student agency and voice by supporting leadership opportunities such as student council and ASB activities
    11. Collaborates with staff to implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to address academic behavioral and social-emotional needs
    12. Ensures equitable discipline practices promoting fairness and restorative practices
    13. Assists in evaluation of certificated and classified staff
    14. Assists in managing scheduling budgeting and allocation of resources to support instructional and operational goals
    15. Ensures proper allocation of instructional materials and resources to meet diverse student needs
    16. Assists in buildingmeaningful relationships with families especially underrepresented communities to support student success
    17. Assists in organizing family engagement activities including ParentCafes home visits and other school events
    18. Assists in establishing and leveraging community partnerships to meet student needs and enhance college and career readiness
    19. Leads professional development aligned with school and district goals including training on curriculum assessment and instructional strategies
    20. Participates in district-sponsored professional learning opportunities to enhance leadership skills
    21. Supports teacher collaboration and growth through coaching andmentorship
    22. Oversees campus safety protocols including emergencypreparedness supervision and school security as outlined in school safety plan
    23. Collaborates with safety teams to address issues related to studentbehavior bullying and crisis response
    24. Maintains a safe supportive school environment that fosters student well-being
    25. Implements programs and events such as college and career weeks to prepare students for postsecondary success
    26. Models personal and professional values of equity integrity caring collaboration personal and collective accountability
    27. Performs other related duties as assigned

    SALARY: $130437 - $159039 annually (199 days)
    (Max. salary includes longevity & educational stipends)

    EVALUATIONS: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the DistrictsImprovement of Professional Services handbookBoard Policies andProcedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable.

Please check with Human Resources regarding acceptable documents. For positions requiring college course work official transcripts will be required upon employment.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operators license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
