What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers competitive pay commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $98000 - $128000/year. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

The City and County of Denver has announced furlough days or unpaid days off for most employees to meet a budget shortfall in 2025. There are two fixed furlough days for all limited (temporary positions with an end date) and unlimited (permanent) employees on August 29th the Friday before Labor Day and November 28th the day after Thanksgiving. If you receive an offer for this position your annual pay will determine whether you are required to take additional furlough days. Details will be discussed during the offer process for selected candidate(s).
Location
In this position you can expect to work at least four (4) days in office at the Denver International Airport - JAG office building (26100 E 68th Ave Suite 240 Aurora CO 80019).
Who We Are & What Youll Do
The Project Integration Manager for the Systems Integration Management Office (SIMO) plays a pivotal role in advancing Denver International Airports mission to deliver a world-class passenger experience through integrated systems thinking. Reporting to the Director of Systems Integration Management this position helps operationalize SIMOs vision by performing professional-level project management work from inception to completion by managing and coordinating cross-functional initiatives that align DENs capital programs operations maintenance and customer service into a unified ecosystem.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in coordination operations continuous process improvement program/project management or systems improvementespecially those who bring transferable skills from other industries. We welcome candidates with some college coursework and equivalent work experience who are eager to grow lead and contribute to a collaborative and innovative culture.
Specifically as the Project Integration Manager you will:
Project Manage: Lead and coordinate SIMO initiatives ensuring alignment with DENs strategic priorities and capital investment plans.
Coordinate & Engage Stakeholders: Convene and coordinate subject matter experts (SMEs) across departments to streamline communication and decision-making.
Project Plan & Integrate: Support the implementation of capital and operational projects by assessing project status identifying lead stakeholders and helping prioritize and execute top-impact initiatives.
Systems Thinking: Identify and manage interdependencies across workstreams to ensure cohesive enterprise-wide integration of projects and programs.
Performance Monitor: Track project progress using KPIs prepare status reports and support management of risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Communication: Prepare and deliver project updates to stakeholders and leadership including reports on risks milestones and deliverables.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency in support.
Workforce Development: Supervise and mentor interns and fellows fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Matrix Management: Coordinate the work of consultants and internal staff assigned to specific projects.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business Management Public Administration or a related field.
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of professional project management experience in the related occupational group including coordinating administering and monitoring projects.
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
Additional Information
FBI Background Check: FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
Snow/Emergency Duties: Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs all DEN employees can be required to work extended hours and/or shifts.
