Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Freeman Lab is looking for a Summer Research Intern. This internship in the Genes & Human Disease Research Program will provide a motivated student with the opportunity to assist with research studies directed towards understanding the mechanisms of DNA methylation and telomere shortening associated with aging.
Duties may include performing a variety of cell culture and molecular biology techniques extraction analysis and presentation of data.

Entry-level position however individuals with previous technician experience will be considered if experience included molecular biology such as DNA purification restriction cloning PCR site-directed mutagenesis and/or RNA handling.
Work Hours
Part-time approximately 24 hours per week typically between the hours of 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.
