The child life specialist contributes to excellent patient experience by assessing educating preparing and supporting patients and families in the health care system. The child life specialist collaborates with other health care providers as well as the community to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience. Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelors degree in Child Life Child Development or a closely related field.
Completion of child life internship.
Certified Child Life Specialist by exam preferred within one year of hire American Heart Association Health Care Provider
BLS is required within 60 days of hire
