Job Description
Job Title: IT Consultant 1 PeopleSoft Financial Specialist
Location: Columbus OH (100% On-Site)
Duration: 10 months
Local Requirement: Candidate must be a resident of Ohio
The consultant will work directly with business teams and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) to ensure system performance compliance with SLAs and continuous improvement of ERP operations.
Key Responsibilities-
PeopleSoft Financial (FIN) applications and related modules
-
Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors on ERP operations and enhancements
-
Use business process modeling to streamline/reengineer workflows
-
Manage relationships with ERP MSPs and ensure performance targets are met
-
Drive cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure security and business teams
-
Lead issue triage troubleshooting and reporting for ERP FIN application
-
Serve as liaison among stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication
-
Create and review business requirement documents for enhancement requests
-
Validate enhancement estimates and perform MSP code reviews
-
Support testing documentation and rollout of ERP FIN solutions
-
Monitor and communicate changes related to FIN SFTP activity and system outages
-
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and recommend IT solutions
-
3 years of experience in PeopleSoft ERP Operations Management

Expertise in PeopleSoft Financial Management 9.x in the following areas:

Accounts Payable/Receivable
-
Asset Management
-
Billing
-
General Ledger
-
Budget Development
-
Strategic Sourcing
-
Supply Chain
-
Travel & Expense
-
Commitment Control
-
Procurement
-
Self-Service
-
-
Application management/outsourcing leadership experience (onshore preferred)

Strong communication skills in a large complex organizational environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Teams Excel Word PowerPoint Visio SharePoint)

Bachelors degree (4-year college degree highly desired)

Public Sector experience
-
Background with a Tier-One System Integrator for PeopleSoft/Oracle services
-
Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades patches bundles or image deployment
-
Strong ability to resolve issues across all organizational levels

PMP ITIL or PeopleSoft certifications
-
Experience with SQL Server MySQL Oracle or other relational databases
