Description & Requirements
The UI/UX Engineer will play a critical role in designing and developing intuitive and responsive user interfaces for applications. This role requires a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies UI/UX design principles and cloud-native practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating seamless user experiences integrating with APIs and deploying applications in containerized environments. You will be part of a dynamic team that contributes to the success of various projects by delivering high-quality user interfaces that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Engineering Leadership
Develop and implement high-quality user interfaces using Figma Adobe XD Sketch ReactJS Angular or similar frameworks ensuring responsive and user-friendly designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features ensuring the best possible user experience.
Convert complex designs into functional HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript code ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and other backend services maintaining seamless functionality.
Contribute to the overall design system and UI/UX best practices within the organization.
Service Delivery & Innovation
Deliver high-quality UI/UX designs from concept to deployment ensuring they are aligned with client expectations and project requirements.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability ensuring they are performant across different devices and browsers.
Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and design guidelines focusing on enhancing the user experience.
Innovation & Initiative
Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design and front-end development bringing innovative ideas to the team.
Engage in technical innovation exploring new tools and technologies to improve the design and development process.
Maintain hands-on technical expertise ensuring that the team is adopting the best UI/UX practices and standards.
Client Relationships
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver UI/UX solutions that meet their business goals.
Conduct client workshops and presentations to showcase design concepts and gather feedback ensuring alignment throughout the development process.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing insights and recommendations for improving their user interfaces and overall user experience.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Proven experience (3 years) in front-end development using ReactJS Angular or similar frameworks.
Strong knowledge of web development technologies including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript SASS and TypeScript.
Experience in designing and implementing responsive cross-browser compatible UI/UX designs.
Familiarity with cloud-native principles and deploying front-end applications in containerized environments (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Experience with version control systems like Git and project management tools like JIRA/Confluence.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Desired Skills & Experience
Technologies:
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices ensuring designs are inclusive for all users.
Experience with API integration and working within microservices-based architectures.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies with experience in delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and understanding of GenAI
Certification in front-end development or UI/UX design is a plus.
