Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Reports to: Branch Manager
Direct Reports: Warehouse Clerk
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including shipping and receiving and material storage. This role involves planning and organizing the arrangement of materials within the warehouse for optimal access and efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will ensure that all inventory processes are accurately documented adhere to company procedures and maintain computerized records of materials. Additionally they will coordinate and schedule the timely delivery of materials supplies and equipment to job sites. The Warehouse Manager is also tasked with maintaining warehouse management systems and ensuring the safety and organization of the warehouse. This role requires effective communication with employees at all levels as well as overseeing the maintenance of warehouse vehicles machinery and equipment.

This role requires effective communication with employees at all levels as well as overseeing the maintenance of warehouse vehicles machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and arrange the placement of materials within the warehouse ensuring ease of access and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage the process of receiving storing and shipping materials supplies and equipment ensuring timely deliveries to job sites.
- Maintain and update computerized records of inventory ensuring data accuracy and planning for future capacity needs.
- Oversee the maintenance of warehouse vehicles machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Work effectively with all levels of employees and management to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- 5 years of related warehouse management experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Experience in forklift operation and other warehouse equipment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must stand and walk for long periods typically during 8-hour shifts.
- Frequent bending stooping and squatting to organize and pick items.
- Ability to reach overhead and grasp items from various heights.
- Good hand-eye coordination for packing and sorting tasks.
- Occasionally climb ladders or step stools to access high shelves.
Work Environment:
- Primarily in a shop setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Use of PPE like gloves and safety shoes is required.
- May involve operating forklifts and pallet jacks; training will be provided.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
