As a Group Facilitator you will play a key role in delivering therapeutic treatment with an emphasis on evidence-based practices in substance use and mental health care. You will be responsible for leading scheduled group sessions and documenting all services provided in the electronic medical record (EMR). This position requires maintaining all applicable licenses and certifications in compliance with the State of California and other regulatory entities.
Responsibilities
Facilitate scheduled group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment approaches.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director Program Director and other professional staff to support a comprehensive program of therapy evaluation and treatment.
Complete and document group session notes in the EMR immediately following each session.
Ensure documentation is accurate timely and compliant with internal policies and external regulations (e.g. DSS DHCS and Joint Commission standards).
Participate in staff meetings and trainings related to therapeutic services and mental health topics.
Meet individually with clients for additional support as requested by the Clinical Director.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
This is a full-time position that will work Monday - Friday or Saturday.
Qualifications :
Must be licensed or certified in the state of California (LMFT LCSW PsyD CADAC or equivalent).
Must maintain active licensure and/or certification in good standing as required by state law.
Must maintain professional liability insurance throughout employment.
Must successfully complete a post-offer physical examination medical history check and TB test.
Must possess a valid California drivers license and current liability insurance if operating a personal vehicle on company property.
