Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy if graduated before 2002 OR Masters degree in Physical Therapy if graduated before 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy;
Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree OR Doctoratein Physical Therapy PLUS Two (2) years of experience in Physical Therapy
Outpatient therapy experience with emphasis in womens health orthopaedic and pelvic floor conditions
OCS CSCS DN Certified
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive examination of patients using appropriate tests/measures completes the evaluation and formulates an individualized plan of care.
Provides evidence-based quality patient treatments and monitors patients for physiological status during sessions.
Provides individualized patient education.
Documents evaluations treatment sessions and education sessions and submits accurate charges according to regulatory policies.
Participates in multidisciplinary and department communication including patient care discussions and/or meetings and unit/department/hospital meetings.
Provides education regarding the physical therapy discipline. Serves as a clinical instructor/mentor and provides education to other disciplines within UAMS and/or the community.
Performs other duties as assigned.
