Associate, Mechanical

• Technical lead in mechanical design from concept to detail design and practical implementation on site
• Responsible for reviewing guiding and checking design calculations drawings specifications and tender documents prepared by senior and junior engineers for the design projects.
• Preparation of design report calculation drawings specification cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects.
• Conduct technical meetings with internal other disciplines and external parties.
• Assist Professional Engineer in liaison preparation and follow up of Authority Submission. 
• Liaison with Client/ Architects/ Structural Engineers/ Civil Engineers/System Contractors/ Civil Contractors/ QS etc. to produce the electrical building services system design from concept to detail design.
• Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries 
• Produce mechanical design from concept to detail design 
• Senior engineers must be able to lead projects and supervise a team of engineers / technicians.  
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. 
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. 
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. 

Qualifications :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with recognized education institutions
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on design experience in Building/Infrastructure projects 
• Familiar with local code and authority submission procedure.  
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision
