What Does a Care Professional Do
As a Care Professional with Home Instead South Lakes no two days are the samebut every day is meaningful.
Your morning might begin by helping Mr Davies start his daysupporting him to get out of bed have a shower and get dressed with dignity. Later you may visit Mrs Smith to ensure shes comfortable has taken her medication and enjoys a warm nutritious lunch.
In the afternoon you could take Mr Thompson for a gentle walk in the fresh air or assist Mrs Williams with light housework and a bit of shopping. Sometimes your most important role might simply be sharing a cuppa and a chatbringing warmth reassurance and friendly conversation to someones day.
This role is about more than just tasksits about building trust offering companionship and making a genuine difference.
