Job Description

Were looking for a proactive and collaborative Data Protection Manager to join our Asset Management Data team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead data privacy initiatives in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What youll be doing:
- Managing subject access requests RFP responses and other business-as-usual activities
- Overseeing change initiatives with a focus on GDPR compliance and risk assessment
- Engaging with new suppliers and ensuring completion of GDPR documentation
- Collaborating with offshore teams and guiding privacy-related activities
- Maintaining and updating data protection policies and procedures
- Conducting audits and assessments to identify and mitigate data risks
- Delivering training and guidance on data protection best practices
- Monitoring industry trends and advising on policy and process updates
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Bringing professional certification in data protection (e.g. CIPP CIPM CIPT) or a willingness to obtain one
- Demonstrating experience with OneTrust or similar data privacy platforms
- Possessing strong knowledge of GDPR and other relevant regulations
- Communicating clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
- Thriving in both independent and team-based working environments
- Showing a structured problem-solving mindset with commercial awareness
- Being passionate about data privacy and motivated to drive positive change
