Job Description
Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Carson City office specializing in Industrial Litigation representing a diverse clientele including employers insurers and third-party administrators.

- Draft legal documents and correspondence as well as conduct thorough legal research.
- Be able to work collaboratively on a team but also independently.
- Must be able to meet or exceed monthly billing requirements using electronic billing system (Clio).
- Strategize and plan meticulously with and for clients ensuring attention to detail in all cases.
- Daily use of our electronic case management system (Filevine) to keep files updated and organized.
- Build and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships not just representation.
- Continuously staying informed about Nevada statutes and regulations by paying attention to trends and developments in our industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple cases and with multiple deadlines.
- Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable flexible and dependable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.
- Daily use of an electronic case management and billing system (Clio).
- Have an interest in Litigation and Administrative Law and strive to exemplify the highest level of respect and performance.
- Ability to bring A-Game Daily!
