Our engineering managers are both technically gifted and can work well with others to solve difficult problems. Technologies frequently change and the successful candidate must have the ability to rapidly master new software languages and technologies.
Tasks:
Analyzes designs develops and documents commercial software products
Work on the research development testing and maintenance of one or more ISW products
Demonstrates high aptitude in a variety of software engineering concepts practices and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Take ownership of development work through to delivery including fully automated testing of components
Provides technical support to project team members. Participate in design and code reviews
Manages the team as a supervisor and mentor to accomplish engineering tasks and objectives. Will perform team leadership for a team of engineers
Sets goals and measures against the goals.
Changes the processes and upskills the team as need arises
Qualifications :
14-17 years of desktop and web applications web and desktop applications leveraging industry standards
Strong knowledge and experience in C C VC MFC Manage C WinForm and Java application development.
5 years of People Management Experience managing and mentoring a team of 8 Engineers and Senior Engineers
Experience with OLAP databases (like TM1/Infor/SAP/Oracle)
Experience with Microsoft Server Analysis Services (MDX)
Knowledge on Linux (Ubuntu RedHat)
Proficiency in JAVA Spring Boot framework and frontend - preferred
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
Front end development: HTML CSS JavaScript
Familiarity with public clouds such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with real-time streaming systems
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Collaborate with team members to define project requirements priorities and timelines.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
Good to have:
Familiarity with Hazelcast in-memory data grid
Shell scripting
