Role: Engineering Technician
Location: Waukesha WI
Description:
Assignment includes set up and running of CT scanners and associated equipment for tests carrying out experiments troubleshooting and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures.
Essential Responsibilities:
Installing setting up and maintenance of CT scanners.
Assist and perform complex troubleshooting conduct experiments and diagnostic tests to resolve system issues in the lab.
Assist lead technicians in developing software and hardware evaluations.
Assist lead technicians in delivery safety productivity materials costs output cycle time and quality.
Assist multiple functions and team members including engineering manufacturing and service.
Assist lead technicians in heavy lifting and moving around CT scanner parts for building and troubleshooting scanners.
Linux experience or equivalent.
Comply with Environmental Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems regulations and policies.
Experience/Background required:
Associates degree with 3 years technical experience in installing maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software-based systems.
Experience with laboratory tools and building prototype fixtures.
Ability to follow complex procedures.
Demonstrated time management through multiple priorities and day to day.
Primary 1st shift role on site at WSO flexibility required to work 2nd shift as needed.
Full time 40 hours / week.
Desired:
Prior experience in manufacturing or servicing of CT systems or similar imaging systems.
Willing to travel to support trade show installations and setup as needed.
Demonstrated intuitive and advanced proficiency to logically troubleshoot up to system level using identifiable problem-solving techniques and previous experience.
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data malfunctions or deviations and coordinate implementation of corrections to the existing design or process.
Demonstrated ability to work with little to no direction.
