Job Description

Job Title: Property Manager Windsor ON
Job Location: Windsor ON

Salary: $58000-$60000/ anually depending upon experience

We are seeking a hard-working detail-oriented and energetic Property Manager for rental units in Windsor. This individual will be the primary point of contact for all building and rental-related matters.

Reporting directly to the Owner the Property Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance administration tenant relations and day-to-day operations. Experience with Yardi or Buildium is an asset (not essential) but strong reporting skills and a systems-oriented mindset are a must.

Responsibilities

Operations

  • Supervise preparation of vacant units for new tenants

  • Address tenant concerns in compliance with Landlord and Tenant Board regulations

  • Facilitate work orders and coordinate all maintenance and cleaning activities

  • Ensure proper upkeep of building grounds

  • Purchase goods and services following the companys purchase order system

  • Obtain quotes for major contracts and repairs

  • Train direct and supervise on-site personnel

Tenant Relations & Administration

  • Promptly and effectively respond to tenant issues

  • Maintain positive tenant relationships

  • Show vacant units to prospective tenants

  • Collect and record rent payments (experience with Yardi/Buildium preferred)

  • Serve legal notices when necessary

  • Lease upcoming units and complete all required documentation

  • Maintain accurate tenant files and records

  • Prepare and submit timely reports

  • Monitor and enforce lease terms and building rules

Safety

  • Ensure the safety and security of all residents and buildings

  • Respond professionally to emergencies

  • Maintain required fire safety and seasonal logs

Marketing & Leasing

  • Monitor and stay informed about local rental market trends

  • Oversee leasing activities including screening tenants and signing leases

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in property management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized and capable of multitasking

  • Strong administrative and time-management skills

  • Patience and professionalism when dealing with tenants

  • Valid Ontario Drivers License and reliable vehicle
