This person should work as Sr QA / QA Test Engineer contributing to testing of Eurofins products.

• Perform manual testing of web-based applications web services in a clientserver environment and also script C# code to test services & UI as per project need.
• Ownership of functionality and deliver on time. Should come with different testing flows/methods for given scenario.
• Experience in functional Sanity Database End-to-End integration and Regression testing independently adhering to SCRUM guidelines.
• Prior experience as developer is must / added advantage.

Job description:

• Adhere to all process and complete assigned activities on time. Should come with different testing flows/methods for given scenario. Keep lead / manager informed on progress.
• Perform Sanity Functional End-to-End integration and Regression testing independently adhering to SCRUM guidelines.
• Adhere to the test strategies and test plans to ensure that product delivered is of high quality.
• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders like Development QA Project Manager BA and onsite teams for successful test coverage and quality.
• Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and issue deviation from SOPs etc.
• Very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process. Prior Experience as developer is must.
• Very good knowledge of .Net SQL Automation with C#/ .Net (any work experience would be desirable).

Technical Knowledge:

• Developer with good knowledge in Test Management process.
• Good knowledge of DB SQL & understanding of UML.
• Experience in functional / automation is must.
• Should have clear understanding / experience in scrum methodologies.
• Experience in API testing and SOAP/REST service automation.

Personal Qualities:

• Good English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing).
• Independent Responsive problem solver self-starter and proactive actions.
• Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.

• BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree.
• Minimum 1 3 year experience as Software Developer or Testing with API test automation experience.

Summary of position and objectives:

Eurofins is taking big steps in implementing best cloud and DevOps practices accelerating the deployment of standard processes across its laboratories. A key aspect is the Information Systems (EurIS) group of application suites where ComLIMS and ADMS are very important programs.

The main objective is to support the DevOps activities within ComLIMS program supporting the applications lifecycle cloud migration and modernization etc.

Position and objectives:

The candidate will

• Become part of the DevOPS team: 2 members located in India.
• Be involved in application lifecycle management configuration management and build and release process management for ComLIMS applications.
• Become a cloud DevOps practitioner:
  • Work together with Cloud Engineering team.
  • Work closely with program and application architects.
  • Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code.
  • Aid in designing deployment plan for Azure.
  • Help bring Development and Operation teams together.

The candidate is expected to

• Contribute to technical activities from the DevOps backlog.
• Help team members adapt to new ways of working.
• Support the application lifecycle and operational tasks.
• Maintain and extend both the technical documentation and DevOps guidelines.
• Act as part of the ComLIMS L3 Support Team.
• Provide some periodical and/or emergency support.
• Provide operational support to the various scrum team.
• Acquire and keep expanding functional knowledge of the EurIS suite starting with ComLIMS & ComLIMS.
• Present and share knowledge within and outside the team.
• Report clearly and timely to the Site and Team Manager.

Qualifications and experience:

Educational background:

• Bachelor / Masters degree in Computer Science or strong Bachelor equivalent.
• Fluent English is required.

Previous experience:

• 2 - 4 years of experience as either DevOps Engineer Software Architect or Developer or related.
• Preferably in an Enterprise DevOps and/or cloud migration context.

Personal skills:

• Strong interpersonal relation skills: diplomatic patient kind.
• Good communicator in an international environment.
• Have an eye for details: be passionate for technical accuracy.
• Eager to learn continuously: new tech processes and functional knowledge.

Technical skills:

• Cloud infrastructure and administration: Azure (preferred) AWS GCP etc.
• Deploy and release tools and best practices: Azure DevOps Octopus Deploy etc.
• Scripting: PowerShell bash etc.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (Cloud).
• Database administration: Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Containerization: Docker Kubernetes.

Good to have technical skills:

• On-prem infrastructure and administration.
• Operational procedures: procurement installation monitoring support etc.
• Configuration management (with CMDB).
• Software development/architecture: .NET etc.
