What Youll Do in This Role:

At Brio Living Services we believe life should be vibrant purposeful and fulfilling at every stage. As the Life Enrichment Manager for our Independent Living community at Chelsea Retirement Community youll play a key role in creating and leading meaningful experiences that celebrate each residents individuality and well-being.

This is more than just a jobits an opportunity to foster joy connection and personal growth through engaging programs and community-building initiatives.

As a Life Enrichment Manager youll design and deliver a diverse calendar of programs and events that promote wellness across all seven Dimensions of Wellnessspiritual social physical intellectual occupational emotional and environmental.


Primary Responsibilities

Program Development:

Create dynamic experiences that inspire learning connection and engagementranging from fitness classes and creative arts to outings and intergenerational events.

Collaboration & Communication:

Partner with residents team members families and community organizations to support an active and inclusive lifestyle.

Staff Leadership & Training:

Mentor and inspire a team of enrichment staff and volunteers while supporting cross-departmental collaboration.

Resident-Centered Engagement:

Offer individual support for residents with varied abilities including those with memory loss ensuring meaningful interaction for all.

Resource Management:

Contribute to budget planning supply ordering and continuous improvement to keep programs fresh fun and well-resourced.

What Youll Need:

  • Must possess as a minimum an Associate Degree.
  • Prior experience managing a Life Enrichment or Recreational Therapy Department.
  • Certification as an Activities Professional or Recreation Therapist preferred.
