Develops implements and coordinates effective systems to evaluate and improve patient outcomes and quality care. Provides leadership in the areas of continuous quality improvement and compliance standards and supports the overall philosophy and mission.
Essential Functions:
- Creates interdisciplinary quality improvement activities to meet strategic plans and compliance standards and facilitates continuous improvement.
- Analyzes data prepares reports and communicates quality outcomes and patient satisfaction data to staff and committees.
- Manages the opening review finalization trending and reporting of patient and visitor events.
- Ensures compliance and participates in PPR process and Constant Readiness Program.
- Collaborates with internal departments and staff to coordinate quality improvement activities and policy compliance.
- Provides continuous quality improvement education and collaborates with staff to identify resources and educational needs to achieve performance goals.
- Maintains data accuracy and integrity in quality improvement databases and nursing scorecards.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Masters Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Active Ohio RN License required.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills necessary to present and communicate important information effectively to all levels of hospital staff.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
Experience:
- Three years of experience as a clinician in a hospital setting required.
- Two years of experience in the quality management field preferred.
