You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Director Learning Pathways the Manager Inclusive Learning Services provides strategic leadership vision and operational management for the programs and services that support accessible education for Sheridans learning community. This role supports a team of accessible learning advisors learning strategists& assistive technologists and testing service providers. The Manager promotes Sheridans commitment to ensuring accessibility as a partnership between learners professors and the Accessible Learning department including the Assessment Centre and takes a collaborative inclusive and integrative approach to learner and faculty support. The Manager builds and maintains exceptional partnerships both internally (e.g. Student Affairs Academic Faculties Student Union other departments and committees) and externally (i.e. Ministry of Labour Immigration Training & Skills Development with regard to apprenticeship exemption testing) to enhance case management support intersections integrate efforts and enhance the culture of accessibility across the college. The incumbent creatively champions and leads the support for learner needs through supporting creative curriculum delivery including universal design for learning approaches and evaluation methods. As the Accessible Learning leader the Manager enhances operational effectiveness and provides expertise to their team learners Academic Faculties and other staff for complex cases and issues. The incumbent inspires the Accessible Learning team in providing exceptional guidance to faculty staff and students and external partners on accessible education at Sheridan.
