You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe intern will support the Global Vendor Team project managers in sourcing coordinating and developing projects that support the creation of genealogical records and the enhancement of images for FamilySearch patrons. These efforts directly contribute to helping individuals discover and connect with their family history. The team initiates projects with approved vendors and collaborates closely with content experts to identify suitable projects define operational requirements and prepare the detailed proposals. The team oversees the project through each operational phase to ensure high-quality deliverables that can be integrated into enabling users to research discover and link generations of their ancestors.
To qualify for a paid internship position a candidate must be enrolled in an educational institution or have graduated from school within the past 12 months. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
Desired skills include:
Excellent data analysis and organizational skills
Skilled in the use of Excel and Word software programs
The ability to read transcribe and evaluate hand-written documents is desirable but not required
Experience with FamilySearch collections and record types is preferred but is not required
The ability to work on tedious repetitious tasks
Must be a temple-worthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
