Rutgers University Correctional Health Care ( UCHC ) is seeking a Mental Health Clinician II for the NJ State Parole Board located in Trenton NJ. Completes specialized psychological testing and assessment of clinical needs of adult parolees or probationers sentenced by the NJ State Parole Board. Arrives at DSM IV multi-axial diagnoses with precision and accuracy by the end of psychological testing and the evaluation session. Develops treatment plans. Makes clinically based decisions regarding appropriateness for treatment as well as preferred treatment modality. Assesses and makes referrals for higher levels of care as appropriate. Demonstrates competency in psychological testing and in recognizing the unique needs and behaviors of adult parolees/probationers seniors and their families. Skilled in testing and in providing group individual and family therapies.
