Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to support work in Huntsville AL. The contractor will be expected to work with the government customer Program Management Office Aircraft Survivability Equipment.
What youll do:
- Creation and maintenance of eMASS packages using vendor and organization provided information.
- Assist and advise product offices on DoDRMF continuous monitoring requirements.
- Using DoD Risk Management Framework candidates must be able to determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; assist PM ASE SMEs in identifying integration issues andpreparing cost estimates. creating completing and completing documentation and artifacts in support of continuous monitoring activities.
- Verifies security systems by by using DoD approved technologies such as STIG/ACAS/Static Code Analysis.
- Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards policies and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting table-top exercises.
- Responsible for the review of a DoD IA architectures systems or system components for use within computing network and enclave environments.
- Ensures that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure. This includes designs for program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 9 years with HS
What youll need:
- Experience with Army Risk Management Framework 2.0
- Familiarity with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Guidelines
- Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGS)
- Experience with Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
Clearance needed:
- Candidate must have active DoD Secret clearance.
