Job Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire
Rate: $60-70/hour on w2 Salary Range: $110000 $150000

Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a Controls Engineer specializing in Conveyor Systems to join our clients team. The role involves end-to-end system design PLC programming commissioning and full product integration. This is not a maintenance/editing role-it requires someone who can develop systems from scratch.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for conveyor systems
- Program PLCs (preferably Allen-Bradley/Rockwell) and HMIs
- Integrate various components including sensors motors and control devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure all control systems meet safety compliance standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience with conveyor systems
- Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Hands-on experience with HMI development
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with full life-cycle implementation of automated material handling or warehouse conveyor systems
- Exposure to integration with warehouse management systems or logistics platforms
