Job Description
Are you a knowledgeable and detail-oriented automotive enthusiast with a knack for helping customers find the right parts for their vehicles Do you have a strong understanding of automotive components and a passion for providing exceptional customer service If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at 2Mazdaas an Automotive Parts Counterman.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle make model and specific requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries offering product recommendations and processing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize an electronic parts catalog and inventory management system to locate and track parts availability and pricing.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Handle customer returns and warranty claims following established procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain an organized and clean parts counter area ensuring an inviting and professional customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive trends technologies and parts advancements through continuous learning and training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Counterman or in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts components and terminology.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately process orders and maintain precise inventory records.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assist customers in identifying and resolving their automotive part needs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with automotive part sourcing and ordering processes.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite.
