Job Summary: The Test Engineer designs and implements software based automated test systems which collect record and report data on a deviceunder test (DUT). The test engineer primarily develops software to interact with RF Test Equipment in an object-oriented programming environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Design and maintain software in C# using an object-oriented approach.
- Write modular reusable code using well-constructed software functions.
- Work with cross functional team to determine test stand requirements including required test equipment custom hardware as needed.
- Be well versed in National Instruments VISA Driver and toolset and the IVI.
- Be familiar with Test Equipment such as Keysight Vector Network Analyzers (PNA Series ENA Series) Spectrum Analyzers (PXA Series)Power Supplies and Oscilloscopes.
- Be familiar with computer communication interfaces such as USB Ethernet Serial Port and GPIB.
- Be familiar with common RF performance specs such as Gain P1dB Noise Figure IP2 IP3.
- Be familiar with revision control tools such as GIT.
- Ability to write technical reports and communicate with engineers production personnel and customers.
- Provide user training and support where appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Experience Years: 1-10
- Experience Type: Test Automation Systems Development embedded systems development OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- On-Site position in a manufacturing facility.
