The story of our organization begins in 1993 when Texas created a workforce development system that made significant efforts to improve service delivery through local control and coordination of services from different programs. On May 23 1996 Governor George W. Bush certified the North Central Texas Workforce Development Area (WDA) and on July 25 1996 the Chief Elected Officials of the 14-county WDA signed a partnership agreement forming the North Central Texas Workforce Development Board and selected the North Central Texas Council of Governments as its fiscal agent grant recipient and administrative agent. Our WDA includes Collin Denton Ellis Erath Hood Hunt Johnson Kaufman Navarro Palo Pinto Parker Rockwall Somervell and Wise counties.
How you will make an impact - Description of the Opportunity:
WSNCT is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Brand Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is key to maintaining and advancing WSNCTs brand presence ensuring that visual materials online campaigns and website content align with our organizational branding and messaging standards. You will have the opportunity to produce impactful digital assets optimize website engagement and create user-friendly digital experiences that reflect our mission.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate exceptional design skills technical expertise and a passion for delivering quality digital content. With a variety of responsibilities spanning design web content management and online engagement this role is pivotal to promoting WSNCTs mission and enhancing the reach of our programs and services.
What you will bring with you - Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design and update visual materials such as flyers brochures event programs reports and graphics ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Create and manage digital assets including social media visuals banners and advertisements and email graphics.
- Maintain and update website content ensuring accuracy relevance and consistency with organizational goals.
- Collaborate on landing pages campaigns and creative concepts for projects and initiatives.
- Audit website to identify and resolve outdated content broken links and design inconsistencies.
- Monitor website analytics to improve user engagement and experience.
- Assist with management of third-party web applications including the website chatbot forms and event calendars.
- Work with IT or developers to implement design updates and address technical issues.
Required Skills
- A high level of creativity and attention to detail coupled with a strong customer service mindset.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in graphic design including experience creating digital and print materials that align with brand guidelines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of website management best practices and analytics tools.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Digital Media Communications Graphic Design or related field.
- 3 years of experience in digital content creation branding communications or a related field (can include internships).
Compensation:
- FLSA: Exempt
- Starting Salary: $61835.00 depending on skills qualifications and experience.
Officing:
- This position offers a hybrid workoption after an onboarding period of approximately 30 days.

- NCTCOG participates in a defined contribution plan as an alternative to Social Security. The defined contribution retirement plan provides retirement benefits for all eligible employees. NCTCOG contributes twelve percent (12%) of permanent full-time employees gross salaries. Participating employees contribute six percent (6%) of gross salary. An employee becomes forty percent (40%) vested in NCTCOGs contributions after three full years of employment. An additional fifteen percent 15%) is vested for each additional year of employment. An employee becomes fully vested after seven years of employment.
