We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk CouncilsRepairs & Maintenance team as a Maintenance Co-Ordinator.
Your role:
The Maintenance Co-Ordinator is the first point of contact when our tenants need a repair to their home. They are responsible for diagnosing repairs and maximising the efficiency of the Repairs Team when booking appointments which are convenient for our customers. They are responsible for ensuring our operatives have the best information to deliver a first time fix for the majority of repairs.
The post holder will manage multiple electronic diaries scheduling both simple and complex repairs co-ordinating different trades to make sure our appointments with tenants are kept. The role requires juggling demands thought the day prioritising emergency repairs whilst scheduling in routine and planned works.
What you will need:
The successful candidate will have sound understanding of domestic property maintenance and have proven ability to work methodically follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
The ability to communicate effectively to customers colleagues and suppliers is essential as well as having excellent computer literacy. 4 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent) are required and thecommitment to your own development and to supporting training and development initiatives.
