The Opportunity:

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics and College of Arts & Sciences in Washington State University (WSU) invites applications for multiple full-time nine-month lecturer positions in Pullman WA with specialties across the field of mathematics. We seek applicants who can broadly teach courses in the mathematics programs within the department. Specifically we are looking for applicants who have the expertise to teach within the following subject courses: Math 100 (Basic Mathematics) Math 103 (Algebra Methods and Introduction to Functions) and Math 405 (Introduction to Financial Mathematics).

These appointments are for one academic year (nine-month) with the potential for renewal. Part-time positions may be negotiable teaching is in-person and remote work is not available. It is anticipated that the successful candidate(s) will begin the appointment on August 16 2025.

Job Duties: The successful applicants will teach a combination of foundational and upper level mathematics and/or statistic courses depending on department need as well as candidates expertise. The anticipated workload for these positions will be 80% teaching and 20% service for a full-time position or four courses per semester.

Additional Information:

Annual Salary: $55000

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
