CMVM / Deanery of Clinical Sciences / Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: 15 months
The Opportunity:
The Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS) isseeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Centre Manager on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will temporarily assume responsibilities for key projects and day-to-day operations as we currently navigate through a period of strategic change to enhance our services and streamline our operations therefore applications would be welcome as a secondment opportunity or on a fixed term nature.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Degree in relevant subject (business/finance) with professional experience in a relevant role or a professional experience in a relevant role demonstrating a broad range of experience.
- Have experience in a line management role.
- Demonstrable experience of managing/reporting and forecasting large financial budgets.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as high level organisation skills.
- Be able to manage resources and workload.
- Demonstrate ability to identify and manage risks implement change effectively where required.
- Proven experience of implementing changes to processes and procedures.
