Job Description

At Scope we celebrate people!

The Cluster Manager (also know as Area Manager) provides support to 7 Scope Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes five Site Managers and a diverse group of long-standing Support Workers.

This role is based out of the Kingsgrove Head Office and you are required to travel too Berkshire Park Plumpton Jordan Springs Ropes Crossing and Cambridge park.

Please Note: This is a 10-month fixed-term contract that finishes on 10th April 2025 so requires someone with sufficient experience in this type of role who can adapt their knowledge quickly with minimal disruption to Scope clients.

About the Role:

As an Acting Cluster Manager you wont just be a leader but a guardian ensuring the safety of clients within your cluster and creating a welcoming home for all.

Your main responsibility will be empowering Site Managers across your cluster. Youll drive process improvements foster a risk-aware culture and create spaces where clients feel safe and supported in achieving their independent living goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide teams to excel in achieving participant-focused goals aligned with industry standards and our organisational mission.
  • Mentor Site Managers supporting their growth and facilitating the implementation of annual work plans.
  • Travel to SIL homes within your cluster and commitment to maintaining safe supportive homes and strong client support networks.

  • Proficiency in clear and diverse communication methods.
  • Customer-focused mindset with commercial acumen.

  • Integrity and courage in managerial and performance Management decisions.

Some of our requirements:

We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however whats important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and ability to work 9-5pm Monday to Friday and support on-call on an alternate roster.
