Job Description
Australian Venue Co. is on the lookout for a talented Interior Designer to join our national design team. With a diverse portfolio of venues across Australia and New Zealand this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the look feel and function of some of the countrys most exciting hospitality spaces.
What Youll Be Doing
As part of the national interior design team youll collaborate with stakeholders across brand property marketing and operations to bring our venue concepts to life. Youll lead the design process from concept development through to project delivery including:
- Creating detailed design briefs and look-and-feel documentation for new and existing venues
- Working closely with external partners (architects builders suppliers) to ensure brand alignment and execution
- Selecting and procuring FF&E in line with budget and timeline requirements
- Producing and reviewing floorplans FF&E schedules and styling details
- Ensuring documentation meets all council and WHS requirements
- Being hands-on during project launches and venue openings
- Managing budgets in collaboration with the project team
What Were Looking For
- A strong design eye and the ability to translate brand vision into layered styled interiors
- Experience in venue hospitality or commercial interior design
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders and contractors
- High attention to detail and strong project coordination skills
- Ability to manage and stay within project budgets
- Excellent communication skillswritten verbal and visual
- InDesign and Microsoft Suite experience; understanding of construction a plus
- Bonus: experience using or other project management tools.
