Senior Analyst and Reporting Specialist - Manufacturing Centres of Excellence
Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)
Temporary Full-time until June 2028
$135320package includes salary ($119575 - $132188) employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

The TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE)are National Centres of Excellence a joint initiative between the Australian Government and NSW Government under the National Skills Agreement.
MCoEs are an innovative education model to tackle the manufacturing skills challenge for NSW and Australia. Located in Western Sydney the Hunter and the Illawarra each centre specialises in different areas. These include advanced manufacturing with robotics and 3D printing supporting clean energy in net zero manufacturing and sustainable manufacturing practices supporting the heavy manufacturing industry and supporting new and existing workforce build the skills they need for the future.
By partnering with other CoEs TAFES universities and industry these nationally networked centres ensure training aligns with real-world job requirements. The MCoEs offer short courses microskills and will soon deliver higher apprenticeships to help individuals become job-ready or enhance their skills for future opportunities.

About the role
As the Senior Analyst and Reporting Specialist within the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE) at TAFE NSW you will lead and execute the end-to-end design collection validation and reporting of data across complex systems to support strategic operational and compliance needs. You will be directly responsible for gathering high-quality data developing advanced reporting solutions and delivering actionable insights to a diverse range of stakeholders including executive leadership government bodies and internal teams. This role demands a deep understanding of modern data strategy ethical data use and privacy standards ensuring that all data practices are transparent accurate and aligned with State and Commonwealth requirements. Regional travel to MCoE campuses in Newcastle Wetherill Park and Wollongong is required.
About You
You have a commitment to continuous improvement collaboration and customer-centric service delivery. You are a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation in data capture extraction and validation and you know how to turn complex datasets into clear actionable insights. With extensive experience in regulatory compliance and/or financial control operationsideally within a complex data-reliant organisationyou bring a deep understanding of government reporting requirements and the ability to navigate multiple systems to implement innovative data solutions.
Your ability to design intuitive impactful reporting tools and communicate insights to senior stakeholders sets you apart. Youre comfortable working across complex systems and reporting mechanisms and you excel at synthesising information to support high-level decision-making.
To be successful in this role you will hold a:
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills knowledge and experience.
- Extensive experience in managing regulatory compliance and/or financial control operations for a large organisation.
