The Chicago Fire Football Club (Chicago Fire FC)is an American professional soccer club that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) the top U.S. domestic league. Founded on October 8 1997 on the 126th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire the Club began play in 1998 as one of the Leagues first expansion franchises. The Fire have won six major domestic titles including the 1998 MLS Cup; theand 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups; as well as the 2003 MLS Supporters Shield.

The Club recently announced plans to build a $650M privately financed downtown stadium in Chicago in 2028. Job Overview:

The Chicago Fire are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Intern to join our team for a 6-month program! The HR Intern will report directly to the VP of People and Culture and will support key functions across compliance recruitment and employee engagement. In this role the HR Intern will gain practical experience in HR processes and contribute to various initiatives that enhance our Clubs workplace culture. This role requires an organized detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced dynamic environment in sports.

This role will begin on August 4 2025 and will conclude on December 19 2025

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic self-motivated and a proactive problem-solver
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint Internet Microsoft Office for day-to-day tasks and activities

Compensation:

  • This role offers an hourly rate of $19
  • This role is classified as Part-time non-exempt
