About our opportunity
You will be responsible for providing guidance support and culturally appropriate mentorship to First Nations participants engaged in our programs.
Your work will be crucial in fostering a sense of belonging cultural pride and empowering individuals to achieve their goals. You will work closely with both participants and staff to ensure that our services are culturally competent inclusive and responsive to the holistic needs of First Nations ability to build rapport trust and credibility both within your client group and local community networks will be key indicators of success in this role.
Experience we are looking for
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
Who are you
To excel in this role you will be committed to making a difference through connecting and supporting your First Nations clients into sustainable employment. You will be a confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills bringing experience in coaching mentoring and case management within employment services or a related field. Problem-solving and goal-setting abilities are essential alongside a solid understanding of the local labour market and employment pathways.
You will demonstrate a genuine interest in all people and their must be able to balance empathy dignity and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.
