Job Location: Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District (01) - Minot ND
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $16.68 - $24.42 Hourly
Job Shift: Days
Description
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Trinitys Release of Information. Assures that all of the regulatory requirements of the Federal and North Dakota state law in addition to HIPAA and The Joint Commission guidelines are followed. This position is responsible for hiring staff development performs employee quality monitoring mentoring and terminating staff as needed. Generates and reports ROI processing times quality outstanding invoices volume of requests and other reports. Develops ROI process guides policies and procedures for the staff.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications Required Requires RHIT or commitment to obtain RHIT within 2 years of position acceptance. Educational Requirements Associates Degree in HIM or other medical related field required as above. Experience Requirements Minimum of two years of ROI experience necessary supervisory experience preferred. Special Skills or Training Requirements Computer skills are necessary. Medical terminology required. Organizational skills a must. Excellent oral and written skills are necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively with various patients requestors and outside agencies.
