Hutco Inc. is looking for an OutsideMachinist for FMT Shipyard. The yard is located in Harvey LA. Work is primarily on the repair and new construction of barges and boats. We are looking for a machinist with experience only.NO TWIC card is required. NO per diemavailable

Position:Outside Machinist
Job Location:Harvey LA
Hutco Branch:Harvey LA
Rate of Pay:$24.00 to $26.50 (Depending on experience)
(time and a half for overtime after 40 hours)
Job description:
Fabricates assembles maintains and repairs metal objects through the operation of lathes shapers planers milling machines drill presses hydraulic presses and similar equipment. Measures work carefully by using precision tools such as a micrometer. Performs milling and lathe work on equipment such as pumps valves pistons shafts bowls impellers and other equipment. Uses adjust cleans and stores the tools machinery and equipment of the machinists trade. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
