Please review the following job description:

Lead the Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) team in the daily oversight and assurance of CTR compliance. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of CTR compliance execution. This area of responsibility is focused on establishing best in class processes to identify assess monitor and implement solutions required for a comprehensive and effective CTR compliance program. Provide significant influence over the design and maintenance of the CTR program and coordinate and drive comprehensive cross-functional initiatives consistent with Truists Risk Management framework and Financial Crimes (FC) Program. Additional responsibilities include assisting with other areas of the Financial Crimes Program as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Structure ambiguous problems into scopes of work that can be executed by teams around the organization.

2. Build influential partnerships with senior managers and executives from all parts of the Company.

3. Provide leadership and drive complex multifaceted FC program enterprise-wide transformational initiatives with excellence in scope timeframes adherence to regulatory requirements and budget.

4. Lead definition and delivery of solutions to complex problems that result in the reduction of regulatory risk reduction in operating expenses and/or enhancements to client experience.

5. Manage a team of dedicated teammates responsible for executing upon the relevant components of the FC Program.

6. Act as a subject matter expert for response regarding FC program reviews with Examiners Auditors Model reviewing parties and other program reviewing functions.

7. Manage relationships with third-party vendors Enterprise Technology and other resources required to execute initiatives

8. Owns execution of strategy accountable for delivery of results including internal and external reporting of results. 9. Partners with executives from other teams to prioritize and coordinate opportunities for improvement across organizations

10. Willingness to go deep to fully understand challenges and create solutions

11. Acts as a change agent to influence the strategic direction of organization

12. Extensive cross-organization coordination including fraud operations product & channel technology teams strategy & analytics and cyber security

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Bachelors degree or equivalent education

2. Ten years of financial services work experience including FIU/AML management experience

3. Prior structured problem-solving experience through consulting business leadership or federal government experience

4. Strong leadership and communication skills

5. Five years direct Internal Audit and/or Governmental Regulatory experience

6. Experience leading projects and driving change

7. Progressive management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. MBA Masters or other relevant advanced degree

2. Six Sigma certification a plus

3. Association of Certified Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) certification a plus

4. Certified Risk and Compliance Management (CRCMP) certification a plus
