Job Description
Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse you will:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and identify health concerns.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Coordinate patient travel and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Prevent complications by ensuring safe effective and efficient care.
- Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act safely delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Document care and education provided assessing learning needs regularly.
- Advocate for patient safety privacy and ethical care practices.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards procedures and local/state regulations.
- Proficiency in medical terminology disease management prevention and pharmacology.
- Ethical and professional conduct with respect for patient confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking abilities.
- Basic computer literacy including use of EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) Microsoft Office and scheduling/payroll systems.
- Commitment to continuous learning teamwork and quality improvement.
- Willingness to mentor peers and participate in community health initiatives.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Texas.
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current.
