Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Resource Pool (Night Shift)
Department: Resource Pool
Location: Insert Facility Location
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (3 days/week Monday to Friday)
Hours per Week: 36
Schedule Type: Night Shift
Athena Medtech is seeking a flexible experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our Resource Pool. This dynamic role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working across a variety of units. As a Resource Pool RN you will play a critical role in supporting hospital-wide staffing needs and ensuring consistent high-quality patient care across medical-surgical units.
Key Responsibilities-
Implement monitor and evaluate individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients

Monitor and document changes in patient conditions intervening appropriately and escalating as necessary

Coordinate care delivery among interdisciplinary team members to promote efficient and cohesive treatment plans

Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and timely

Support patient and family education throughout hospitalization and during discharge planning

Collaborate with case managers and the broader care team to ensure safe and effective patient transitions

Active RN license in Insert State

Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience

Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments and unit needs

Strong communication clinical assessment and documentation skills

Experience as a traveler RN is a plus but not required
