Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12:00 PM 09:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to established protocols and within designated timeframes.
- Follow production and quality standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in imaging.
- Use AIDET communication framework to:
- Acknowledge the patient
- Introduce yourself
- Duration explanation
- Explain the procedure
- Thank the patient
- Provide clear instructions and information to patients and their families regarding MRI procedures.
- Assess the patients ability to undergo the exam and take necessary precautions.
- Prepare the patient and scanning area:
- Position patients correctly
- Use and adjust immobilization devices
- Set exposure factors and operate imaging equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to safety infection control drug and radiation protection protocols.
- Use proper sterile techniques for invasive or multi-modality procedures.
- Follow hand hygiene and infection control policies at all times.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Required Certifications/Licensure:
- ARRT (MR) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARRT (R) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography
- ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
