Job Summary:
This role is for an MRI Technologist in a tertiary care hospital. The position requires a New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license with injection certification and a minimum of two years of MRI experience is preferred. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts Friday through Monday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM. No on-call is required except for scheduled holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Performing MRI scans on patients.
- Preparing patients for MRI procedures.
- Maintaining and cleaning MRI equipment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Reviewing patient history and medical records to ensure appropriate scan parameters.
- Processing and managing images according to hospital protocols.
- Communicating effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Following all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license.
- Injection certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience in MRI (preferred).
