Radiologic Technologist Interventional Radiology Permanent Role Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 8 HR Days 07:00 AM 03:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and operate radiologic equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist the interventional radiologist during minimally invasive procedures such as angiograms stent placements biopsies and drain placements.
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergencies.
- Document procedures accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record.
- Perform post-procedure patient monitoring and assist in recovery if needed.
- Ensure proper inventory of supplies and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required.
- Previous interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab experience.
Certifications/Licenses: - ARRT-R (Radiography) Required
- Must be certified in one of the following within 2 years of hire:
- ARRT-CI (Cardiac-Interventional Radiography)
- ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)
- ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiography)
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification-required within 30 days of hire
