Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure to gain hands-on experience and grow their career. Youll support the automation deployment and monitoring of our systems working closely with senior DevOps engineers and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the configuration deployment and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure.
- Help manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools.
- Participate in troubleshooting issues across development test and production system performance and assist in responding to alerts and incidents.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability. Document processes configurations and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 02 years of experience in a DevOps System Administration or related role.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome).
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and basic shell scripting.
- Understanding of version control (e.g. Git).Knowledge of containers (Docker) and an interest in learning orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the DevOps communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or any entry-level cloud certification.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Ansible etc..
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g. CloudWatch Grafana ELK stack).
