Job Description
We are seeking a technically proficient Zoho Books & Financial Systems Developer with a strong foundation in accounting principles and experience in Java or .NET development. This hybrid role involves taking over an existing Zoho Books implementation ensuring its alignment with accounting standards and extending its functionality through integrations and custom development. You will play a key role in building a reliable scalable and insight-driven financial system.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of our existing Zoho Books implementation correcting any misconfigurations and aligning it with sound accounting practices.
Customize and maintain modules for: o General Ledger Accounts Payable/Receivable o Bank Reconciliation & Tax Compliance (e.g. GST VAT) o Project and cost accounting o Budgeting & Forecasting
Build and enhance custom workflows and automation using Zoho Deluge scripting and Zoho APIs.
Develop and maintain system integrations between Zoho Books and in-house or third-party applications using Java or .NET (C#).
Design real-time and scheduled data syncs APIs and webhooks to ensure accurate financial data flows across platforms (e.g. CRM ERP Payroll).
Produce financial reports dashboards and audit-ready exports for management finance and compliance teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate business needs into technical and financial solutions.
Provide technical support training and documentation to finance and IT teams.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and practical experience in financial reporting.
2 years of experience with Zoho Books and the Zoho ecosystem (CRM Creator Inventory).
Strong knowledge of Deluge scripting and Zoho Books customization.
Proficiency in Java or .NET (C#) for building integrations services and backend logic.
Experience working with REST APIs webhooks and system integration patterns.
Ability to troubleshoot optimize and scale financial and business workflows.
Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Familiarity with security standards and financial data compliance (e.g. GDPR SOX)
